Mysterious Spanish Cities

by Paqui

Here is a picture of a Spanish city, but this time I am not telling you which, so take a guess…Do you know this place? In which city was this picture taken? Do you know where in Spain it is??

If you want to see more pictures you can have a look at the student's photo albums in the don Quijote website.

…I will give you the answer to the mysterious city soon.

Wow, found a photo of the Alameda Bridge (I see it called Puente de la Exposición) as well in Valencia and they do look similar. The Alameda Bridge is by Santiago Calatrava -- as is another emblematic bridge in Seville - at www.bluffton.edu/~sullivanm/spain/seville/calatravabridge/bridge.html -Alamillo Bridge in Sevilla.

I've never been; is there really no water in the river in Valencia?

Thanks for the comment!

Looks to me like el puente Alameda in Valencia. If not there is one just like it there. Oh wait, it isn't because the river in Valencia has no water in it. Must be Sevilla. Check out the one in Valencia too…

I say you nailed it, Tim. It looks like Seville to me! I'll post a little about that bridge later today or tomorrow….

This must be from Seville? I studied there a couple of years ago and I remember we could see this white bridge far in the distance from our roof terrace where we were studying… I'm not sure where it goes or what it links, but I'm sure I've seen this bridge there!

Nobody knows this town? Here is a clue: It is the capital of Southern Spain!
